Welcome to HELP
Launched in 2009, the Health Equality Library Portal was NHS North West's central repository for up-to-date equality and diversity information. Its purpose was to:
- support the production of effective evidence based equality analyses of all strategies, policies, plans or activities
- identify knowledge and evidence gaps
- share best practice and policy material and prevent unnecessary duplication of effort
- support equality and diversity leads in their roles
HELP was also the home for NHS North West's two historical exhibition resources. Click here to view the BME Timeline and the LGBT Timeline. British Sign Language versions of the BME Timeline Videos and of the LGBT film Rainbow voices were also available.
NHS North West, along with the other nine Strategic Health Authorities in England closed at the end of March 2013. This facility is no longer being updated as a result.
